Our cattle are born and raised in the grass pastures of the Black Hills in southwest South Dakota. They are fully raised on pasture with a grass diet supplemented with grain for marbling and optimal flavor.
W9 cattle never step into a feedlot. They go from pasture to processing plant with minimal stress and maximum time on open range.

W9 Beef is all natural and comes from ethically raised, humanely treated cattle raised on Wood Ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The cattle have shelter in the ponderosa pine forests, plentiful water, and extensive pasture.
The herd is rotated through different pastures to optimize grazing and allow recovery for the long-term health of native prairie grasses.
